The improved FaceTime camera is part of an iPhone-esque display notch that's integrated into the top display bezel, and this design quirk is another first that the notebook brings. Virtual meeting and video call participants will see (and hear) you better than ever. Paired with studio-quality microphones, it makes the device an even mightier tool for work.

The large trackpad of the notebook is fantastic, as always.Ī FaceTime camera with Full HD resolution is another hype-worthy MacBook Pro upgrade. Such a setup is less distracting and more dependable than the touch-sensitive panel of the previous generation.
CAMBRIDGE SOUNDWORKS BY HENRY KLOSS UPGRADE
The Liquid Retina ProMotion XDR display on the new MacBook Pro is a massive upgrade over the Super Retina of older ones, and the best I have ever encountered in a notebook.
But mine just says "Cambridge Soundworks" Looks more tidy than using a splitter cable.Īnd what's with removing the internal AM antenna on the 88cd? Though, it seems the early 88CD (that says model 88CD by Henry Kloss on the front) might have an internal AM antenna.
I wanted to plug my mpow streambot into the 3.5mm jack like I can with my original model 88. There was only faint sound coming from it.

My version just says AM antenna input and the manual has no mention of a mixer input. So the volume wouldn't work, but you could control that with an iPad. Sounded like it was a constant level input. Were there different variations of the 88CD? an online manual says the 3.5mm jack is for a mixer input or something. I've have the original 88 (the "clockless radio") and recently found the later 88CD with the cd player and the clock. Does anyone have either the Cambridge Soundworks model 88 or 88CD?
